Why study with us?
Founded in 1983, we are the leading professional body for Accounting Technicians in Ireland. Our qualifications are offered in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and are internationally recognised.
With over 10,000 Members and Students, you join our active community network of accounting and finance professionals.
What qualification do you offer?
The ATI Level 5 Diploma for Accounting Technicians is recognised as the leading qualification for accounting technicians on the island of Ireland. It is a two-year programme which can be studied for online or full-time / part-time with one of our Partner Colleges.
If you are looking to start a career in accounting, or already work in an accounting or finance related role and wish to obtain a formal qualification, then the Diploma is suited to you.
The Accounting Technician Apprenticeship is a practical, work-based learning programme which takes place over two years. Apprentices work with their employer four days a week and study one day a week with one of our local Partner Colleges during the academic term.
Apprentices are paid a salary and their college tuition is fully funded. The Republic of Ireland programme leads to a Level 6 QQI Advanced Certificate in Accounting. The Northern Ireland programme, the Higher-Level Apprenticeship in Accountancy, results in the ATI Level 5 Diploma for Accounting Technicians. Both Apprenticeships have a competitive application process as applicants are matched with local employers.
What study options are available?
The Diploma for Accounting Technicians can be studied for completely online or part-time / full-time with one of our local Partner Colleges based all over Ireland.
Our flexible online options means you can study when and where suits you. Lectures are recorded and sent to you each week and you benefit from dedicated online tutoring and a busy student chat forum, ensuring you're supported every step of the way. For those looking for a more traditional social experience, our Partner Colleges offer full-time and part-time study options.
The Apprenticeship is a 'work, earn and learn' pathway whereby successful applicants study at their local Partner College one day a week during academic term time and work with their employer for the rest of the week.
