Founded in 1983, we provide nationally and internationally recognised accounting qualifications which open the door to a rewarding career as an Accounting Technician, as well as further study.

Our members are employed in industry, practice and the public sector, at all levels of finance, where they proudly carry the respected professional designation of MIATI.

We educate, train and represent our members, throughout their professional lives.

What We Do

We supply the jobs market with highly skilled and experienced graduates who are capable of carrying out all kinds of finance roles.

We do this by ensuring our qualifications are based on the specific skillsets employers require in their Accounting Technicians, and by providing our members with life-long learning opportunities throughout their career.

Membership is conferred on graduates who have completed either our two-year Diploma programme or Accounting Technician Apprenticeship. The Quality Assurance manual for the Apprenticeship can be found here
