How do I get started?
To get you on the road to becoming a qualified accounting technician there are a few steps that you need to complete.
Find out what your entry route is
There are some entry requirements that you need to meet in order to become a student. If you're over 21 then you can apply as a mature student. If you're under 21 make sure to check our entry requirements. Apply for exemptions (optional)
Some previous qualifications will entitle you to exemptions. If you've completed a diploma, a degree or another qualification that you think is relevant, you might want to find out if you're exempt from any exams. You can't apply for exemptions after you register so make sure you do this first.Enrol with the licensed college where you want to study
You can study all over Ireland through our licensed colleges, directly through us at our Pearse Street training venue, or by distance learning. It's compulsory to either attend classes or study by correspondence so make sure you complete this step. Register with Accounting Technicians Ireland
