New strategy for the Department of Further and Higher Education announced

An ambitious Apprenticeship Action Plan forms a key part of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science new Statement of Strategy 2021 – 2023.

Minister Simon Harris talked to Pat Kenny on Newstalk this week, 8th March 2021, about his Department's plan to grow the number of apprentices registered each year to 10,000 by 2025, and how the public sector will commit to creating more career opportunities through apprenticeship.
