Please Note: For clear sound quality we strongly recommend that you use headphones when listening to Online Tutorials. The Microsoft Silverlight software is not currently supported by iPhone, iPad or Android devices. Thus our Online Tutorials cannot currently be viewed on these types of devices.
If you've tried the demo and it hasn't worked for you, you might be missing a required piece of software.
Sonic Foundry recommends the following system requirements for the best presentation viewing experience with Mediasite Player on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
Your PC should have the following configured:
- Silverlight 3.0, or newer, is required to view presentations in the Silverlight Player. If you do not have a suitable version of Silverlight, you will be prompted to install it when you view a presentation. If you are not prompted, you can download it from here.
- Flash 10.2 or above is required to view the presentation. If you don't have this you can download it here.
- Remember to configure pop-up blockers to allow site pop-ups. Otherwise, presentations will not appear. Also, if you are not using Internet Explorer as your browser on Windows, there are additional considerations.
- Some proxy servers can disrupt your ability to view the presentation. You may need to liaise with your network administrator if that happens to you.
