Integrated Accounting Systems (IAS)
Integrated Accounting Systems (IAS) is for many employers one of the more important subjects as it covers practical areas like payroll, spreadsheets, and popular accounts packages like TAS and SAGE. It has been recently redesigned to make it even more relevant to the workplace and can be a valuable asset to help secure employment once you complete the qualification.
The subject is entirely lab based and will be delivered by colleges on either a weekly basis or over weekends spread throughout the year. The IAS exam takes place in the colleges during March, thus leaving students in Second Year with only three subjects to sit at their May exams.
