All the information you need to start you on your career as an Accounting Technician.

Accounting Technicians Ireland offer a professional qualification in just two years.

Am I eligible for exemptions?

Exemptions are awarded to students who have previously completed other qualifications such as HETAC, BTEC or equivalent and Irish honours degree holders of a relevant subject area may be entitled to exemptions from our qualification.

Our exemption policy

All exemption applications are assessed on an individual basis and exemptions are only granted from First Year subjects on the course. Accounting Technicians Ireland can only offer exemptions on the basis of qualifications awarded in the last 10 years.

Exemptions must be applied for before you register with Accounting Technicians Ireland as a student and cannot be awarded if you have registered with us in a previous year. Exemptions are only valid when you have fully registered with Accounting Technicians Ireland and all fees have been paid.

The exemption application deadline for the academic year 2011/2012 has now passed.
