Accounting Technicians Ireland offer a professional qualification in just two years.

Am I eligible for exemptions?

Exemptions are awarded to students who have previously completed other qualifications such as HETAC, BTEC or equivalent and Irish honours degree holders of a relevant subject area may be entitled to a full First Year exemption on our Accounting Technician qualification.

Our exemption policy
All exemption applications are assessed on an individual basis and exemptions are only granted from First Year subjects on the course. Accounting Technicians Ireland can only offer exemptions on the basis of qualifications awarded in the last 6 years.

Exemptions must be applied for before you register with Accounting Technicians Ireland as a student and cannot beawarded if you have registered us in a previous year.
Exemptions are only valid when you have fully registered with Accounting Technicians Ireland and all fees have been paid.

To apply for exemptions please download the exemptions application form below and return it with copies of your transcripts of results.

The closing date for applications is 2nd October 2009.
