We're here to support you while you transition to becoming a Full Member.

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate membership of Accounting Technicians Ireland is open to all Students who have passed the Accounting Technicians Ireland examinations but do not yet have the two years relevant work experience required for full membership.

It is a new interim class of membership between student and full membership that allows you to maintain your links with Accounting Technicians Ireland while you work towards your practical experience requirements.

As an Affiliate Member, you can avail of new services that previously were not available to you as a student. However, you are still prohibited from using the professional letters MIATI after your name as this is reserved solely for Full Members.

Please note that Students can proceed straight to full membership once they pass their exams, if they have already gathered the required two years of relevant work experience.
